Housing Story:

Anicia Teaupa Joined HLC in June of 2024 as our Summer Organizing Intern. She is currently a student at UC Irvine majoring in Urban Studies.

Like her parents, she grew up in San Mateo County thanks to her grandparent’s immigration to the Bay Area. Anicia was drawn to intern at HLC not only because HLC’s mission aligns with her educational and professional goals, but also because HLC supports and advocates for her community.
