Building Inclusion – Affordable Housing Bus Tour
We are so excited to announce HLC’s Annual Bus Tour, Building Inclusion edition, which will take place on May 24, 2024! Join us for an educational journey through some of San Mateo County’s finest Housing Developments, featuring affordable and market-rate housing. In partnership with SamTrans, we will embark on a comprehensive exploration of key housing developments, including Alta Housing, Fair Oaks Commons, Greystar Highwater Apartments, Eden Housing, Nugent Square Apartments, and culminating in the grand opening and lunch at MidPen Housing’s “Gateway Rising.” Limited bus seating is available, so mark your calendars for April 8 when registration opens. Affordable Housing Month Art Contest
Calling all artists! In celebration of Affordable Housing Month 2024, HLC is hosting an art competition to uplift Affordable housing through art! We will choose one winner to turn their artwork into a sticker to advance our mission! This year’s art contest theme will be Connecting Communities through Housing!
The winner will be announced at the HLC Bus Tour and Breakfast event on May 24, 2024 & will receive complimentary tickets to HLC’s Affordable Housing Month Annual Bus Tour & a cash prize of $300.
All you need to do is submit the consent form below to enter the contest. Then, get to creating art! Make sure to email your creation as a high-resolution PNG or JPEG to info@hlcsmc.org by May 15th. Let’s create a brighter future together! 🏠🖌️
