The panel will include a variety of perspectives regarding affordable housing development on government agency owned land and the corresponding community benefits. This includes the perspective of Developers, Government Agency land owners, Lenders, and  legal counsel.

Moderator –  Scott Nakaatari
Senior Vice President, Alliant Strategic Development
Scott Nakaatari heads the low income housing tax credit development group for the affordable housing developer Alliant Strategic Development. Scott has developed over $600MM Low Income Housing Tax Credit projects throughout the West Coast region including affordable, special needs, and workforce housing.  

William Eger
Chief Business Officer, Ravenswood City School District
William Eger is the Chief Business Officer for Ravenswood City School District, headquartered in East Palo Alto, where he oversees finance, operations, facilities, technology, and data for the district.  William Eger has a Bachelor’s Degree in Government from Harvard College, a Masters in Education from the Broad Residency, and a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Pennsylvania, where he is also working towards his Doctorate in Education.

Henry Loh II
Partner, Carle, Mackie, Power & Ross LLP
Henry Loh is a partner at CMPR with an emphasis on affordable housing, financing and real estate.  Henry represents developers and syndicators in multifamily tax credit housing projects, and assists in all aspects of affordable housing development, from navigating the rules of government funding sources to negotiating with institutional lenders and investors

Jonathan Veach
Executive Director, Community Development Banking at JP Morgan Chase
Jonathan Veach is an Executive Director in J.P. Morgan Chase’s Community Development Real Estate Banking (CDRE) business, which is a national leader in community development finance for affordable housing and economic development projects.

Prior to joining J.P Morgan, Jonathan was the Housing and Real Estate Manager for the City of Santa Clara where he led the City’s strategic priority of developing a robust affordable housing pipeline, which included over 2,000 affordable housing units and more than $600 million of 100% affordable LIHTC projects.
