Why it Needs Our Support
The BART station is a regional resource. Communities from all over the Bay Area contribute tax dollars to subsidize low-ridership stations, like Millbrae. We need to build housing near these stations in order to increase ridership, and to increase density without increasing traffic.
Millbrae is an affluent community, with access to jobs all over the Bay Area (thanks to the BART station), and excellent schools. More people should have access to communities like Millbrae.
