HIP Housing’s new Housing Readiness Program empowers San Mateo County community
members to navigate our complex local housing landscape by providing support through
housing resources, assistance with completing housing applications, and other activities.
With older adults being the fastest-growing demographic of homeless individuals, the
Housing Readiness Program offers case management to very low-income older adults
who need support with applying for affordable housing, creating a budget, and developing
a housing plan. The Lunch and Learn virtual presentation will include information about the
Housing Readiness Program activities, how consumers can get involved, and to answer
questions about the Program.
