HLC supports the substantial renovation and addition of affordable housing units at Light Tree Apartments. EPA CAN DO and Eden Housing’s proposal to substantially renovate Light Tree Apartments demonstrates their commitment to providing their residents with safe, high quality, and well-managed housing. The addition of units will allow 91 new individuals and families to live affordably in a community within walking distance of essential amenities and services. With the current need for affordable housing being greater than the supply and vulnerable members of our communities being driven out of their homes by rising rent, HLC is pleased that Light Tree Apartments will remain 100% affordable.
